The Kobe Marathon's aspirations
The Kobe Marathon aims to be an event known for the world’s best runner etiquette. We hope to attract runners who can share in the joy of running together.
Entry will be based on confirmation and agreement with the following points. Each participant in the event, whether a supporter or a runner who is supported, should observe good etiquette and work together to make this the best marathon in the world.
(1) | Any single individual may not submit more than one application or enter in more than one event. |
---|---|
(2) | A false declaration at entry, check-in by a person other than the actual runner, transfer of entry rights, and use of a substitute runner on the day of the event are forbidden. |
(3) | If you are selected for an event, be sure to train sufficiently for that event. |
(4) | Runners may not wear clothing or accessories that could possibly injure or trip another runner during the event, and may not participate in clothing that is not appropriate for a sports event or could cause offence to other runners or roadside supporters. |
(5) | The display of specific regions, organizations, or names of individuals, espousal of political or religious ideologies, and advertising or promotional activities are not permitted without the approval of the organizers. |
(6) | Items that could obstruct the smooth running of the event and use of equipment or actions that might impede the performance of other runners are prohibited. |
